OUR CONVICTION
“The work is complex. The language around it should be clear.”
DAILYOPS / EDITORIAL POSITION
DailyOps.Tech is an independent publication for the people who build, run and defend systems that matter.
Publish what can be checked. Practise what must hold. Build what makes work more defensible.
OUR CONVICTION
“The work is complex. The language around it should be clear.”
OUR EDITORIAL STANDARD
Begin with what can be observed.
Name the constraints before the conclusion.
Leave a trace that assists the next decision.
Say what is published, in development or still to be tested.
WHAT THE PUBLICATION HOLDS
DailyOps connects field work, long-form writing, practice and tools. Each format answers a different question without replacing the others.
Situations, incidents and working conditions that require more than an indicator.
Explore02Long-form texts that hold a question long enough to change how it is read.
Explore03Structured practice paths that turn an observation into a working move.
Explore04Focused tools that extend the same demand for security and context.
ExploreTHE METHOD
Every publication begins in the shape of a situation: a service, a constraint, a change, a failure or a decision. The aim is not to flatten the real; it is to make the next decision more discussable.
Name the service, the people, the constraint and the point at which the work becomes difficult.
Distinguish what can be observed from what still needs interpretation, discussion or verification.
Share observations, mechanisms and limits that another team can pick up and use.
THE ORIGIN
DailyOps comes from cybersecurity and IT operations work in environments where availability, rigor and continuous monitoring are not abstract. The publication connects architecture, operational practice and secure system design when context must remain intelligible under pressure.
Steve Ba-Ndouwe is a cybersecurity engineer working across IT operations. His career runs through high-stakes environments such as banking, airports and critical infrastructure, where availability, regulatory rigor and continuous monitoring leave no margin for error. He founded DailyOps.Tech to turn field playbooks into knowledge that lasts.
For people accountable for what keeps running.
